LEAHN to present session at ICAAP 2013: Developing the police role in leadership of the HIV response

The Law Enforcement and HIV Network will feature at a satellite session at the upcoming ICAAP, Bangkok.

The session will promote the role of police champions advocating to their peers in generating police leadership, support and the forming of multi-sectoral partnerships in the response to HIV regionally and globally.

Superintendent Frank Hansen (Retd.) and Police Colonel Krisanaphong Poothakool (Royal Thai Police) outside United Nations International Centre, Vienna, Austria.

The event will be moderated by International Police Advisory Group Chair, Superintendent Frank Hanson (Rtd.) (NSW, Australia). Speakers will include numerous police from the region.

The session is hosted by the Centre for Law Enforcement and Public Health (CLEPH) and the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), with co-organisers: UNAIDS RST, Bangkok; UNODC Regional Office, Bangkok
