Announcement: New LEAHN Co-ordinator Greg Denham

DenhamCFP
‘It is with a great deal of excitement that I have accepted the position of Coordinator for the Law Enforcement and HIV Networks (LEAHN).
Many people connected with LEAHN will be aware that I was the first coordinator of LEAHN and before LEAHN I formed the the Coalition of Police Supporting Harm Reduction (COPSHR).
My experience in developing HIV prevention and policing strategies is quite extensive, having worked in most South East Asian countries as a senior technical advisor in law enforcement and harm reduction. I lived and worked Vietnam from 2005-2007. I also have operational policing experience as a general duties officer and detective.
My goal for LEAHN is quite simple: I want LEAHN to grow further and develop into the foremost international recognised agency providing support, guidance and advice for police and health agencies in order to prevent the spread of HIV. I will also work hard to develop and expand the important work that the Centre for Law Enforcement and Public Health (CLEPH) is undertaking by creating effective and meaningful collaborative partnerships between police and health agencies across a range of issues.
I will be contacting the membership of LEAHN on a regular basis, particularly the CFPs, and will be visiting as many people involved with LEAHN as a I can over the next 12 months.
